PSAT – What a Score Means, Why It Matters (8th to 11th Grade Students)

Understanding the PSAT and how to interpret and use your student’s score are important first steps in the standardized testing process. Preparing for and taking the PSAT can help set your student up for maximum success on the SAT or ACT, which, in turn, will help him or her fare better in the college admissions process. This webinar will offer insight into the PSAT and why it’s important. You’ll also learn:

  • How to convert PSAT scores to predict your student’s SAT or ACT score
  • Which test your student should take based on his or her PSAT score
  • How to compare your child’s PSAT score to scores of other students in the state
  • National Merit Scholarship opportunities for high-percentile students

The webinar will run for approximately 45 minutes followed by Q&A.

Since 2002, Revolution Prep has helped over 1 million students achieve better grades and better test scores through a comprehensive advising and tutor matching process that stands apart from other tutoring companies and enables superior results. Experienced Academic Advisors work one-on-one with families to develop long-term, goal-oriented plans and ensure accountability and expertise throughout the entire tutoring program. After learning about the student, the advisors custom match each student with a full-time instructor who has chosen a career in individualized education. The Revolution advisor and instructor teams work closely together to build a stronger student, someone who not only succeeds with better grades and test scores, but develops into a lifelong learner.
