Navigating your resources
It could be considered a good problem to have. But at News Corp you have so many programs available to you, it could get confusing on who to go to and why, when things go imperfectly. So we thought it might help to pull together this handy (and brief!) cheat sheet.
| Navigation Circumstance | Appropriate Resource |
| When you are having trouble with a medical claim: | Contact Aetna One Advocate who can walk you through why decisions were made, how the claim interfaces with your deductible, coinsurance, and out of pocket maximums etc. |
| When your claim is denied: | Contact Health Advocate. Despite the similar sounding name – Health Advocate are an independent company who will actually fight on your behalf to have a claim appealed and paid if it was in fact processed unfairly. |
| If you want an independent opinion on a medical claim: | Contact Health Advocate and they can provide insight on why the claim is being handled as it is. |
| If you are worried or unclear about a recommended medical treatment: | Contact Included Health. Included Health will review all of your clinical information with their panel of experts and render an opinion on whether or not your course of treatment is right, and whether or not you are seeing the best possible doctor for the recommended treatment plan provided to you. |
| If you are looking for a quality doctor for a service you will need: | Contact Included Health or use the doctor search tool. They will provide you with network based providers based on relevance and quality to your specific need. |
| If you want to change your benefits election: | Contact The Benefit Center, they can tell you which benefits you can change at any time, and which you can only change if you have a “qualifying event” they can also take the election over the phone if needed. |
| If you need a new ID card: | Contact Aetna One Advocate for medical, dental and vision or CVS Health for prescription drug. |
| If you just need to find some contact information: | Our www.mynewscorpbenefits.com site has key contact information for all of our providers. Just type “contact” into the search bar at the top of the web page. |
| If you are considering retirement and not sure how medicare works: | Contact Health Advocate and they can walk you through what to expect. |
| If you are not in our health plan but would like help finding a doctor for services: | Contact Health Advocate as they are available to all benefits eligible employees and not limited to just those enrolled in our health plan. |
