Let’s Talk…About A New Way To Support Your Emotional Health
Reaching out for emotional support can be difficult, not to mention time consuming and expensive. Through our EAP, we’re bringing you Talkspace, a free online therapy program where you can get help without making an appointment or travelling to a provider’s office.
Talkspace can help you:
Get support even when life is at its busiest.
Make time for self care.
Set and work toward your goals.
With Talkspace, you work with a licensed therapist anytime and just about anywhere on the same kinds of issues for which you’d visit a therapist in person, including stress management, depression, anxiety, work/life balance, family issues, grief, self-esteem and more.
How it works
If you ever thought you’d like to use your free Resources for Living Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) counseling sessions* but don’t have time, try Talkspace. You get up to 10 weeks of therapy through Talkspace (each week of therapy counts as one session).
Unlike traditional face-to-face therapy, with Talkspace you don’t have to wait days or weeks between appointments to connect and get support. Whenever you need it, you simply send your therapist a text, and your therapist will respond one to two times per day, up to five days a week. If you need more, schedule a video chat. You can get meaningful therapy from any device, including a laptop, tablet or smartphone. Your conversation with your therapist carries over seamlessly across devices and uses banking-grade encryption to keep it safe and confidential.
